Motel 6 El Cajon, CA - San Diego

Sierra at the front desk is amazing. Super helpful and very pleasant too! Lauren is also great. The staff keep the premises incredibly clean. If you are passing through El Cajon the Motel 6 is an excellent stay at a reasonable price.

The people who leave low ratings on this place are prejudice and only complain about the type of people who stay here. This is a Motel 6, you come here for a clean room, a clean bed, a clean shower without paying a meaningless deposit. There are plenty of other options if you're too good to save money. 5-stars for being what it's always meant to be.

Queen room was clean, quality as expected for a motel. Some cigarette burns in the blanket and one of the bath towels, but didn't affect me. I was able to very easily book on Booking.com and was able to show a photo on my phone of the front & back of my ID since I didn't have my driver's license on me. Front desk was kind and respectful, lobby and laundry room were clean. Pet friendly with multiple bathroom spots, and overall a good experience!

In waiting several weeks for my apt to be ready, I needed to be cost effective. My room was small for a wheal chair. But had the roll in shower, roomy bathroom required, a fridge and microwave. Eating from amazon fresh and Walmart deliveries, i enjoyed my stay. Wifi was choppy. Tv small. I could not access pool as there was no chair lift, but the kids looked like they were having so much fun! 24 hour front desk, & house phone. (always ready to assist.)

Rooms are immaculate the manager mark he really went the extra mile for my family and I to have an awesome experience. Definitely best motel 6 I have been to.

I showed up politely asking to see a clean room before my family that are visiting out of town book their stay here. At the counter, a male employee right off the bat tells me they cannot show me any rooms, but I can walk around the hotel if I really want to check it out . Luckily, Daniela offered me to give me a quick tour. She is the embodiment of what a great employee with phenomenal customer service looks like. She 100% rocks and she needs to be given every opportunity possible to do well here or anywhere else she works. The room she showed me smelled and looked very clean. I will be recommending this hotel for my family to stay in.

I have stayed at this Motel 6 before years ago. They have kept the rooms up to date, slightly stark &simple. No fridge,no microwave but has security in the entrance parking lot. The room was very clean, the grounds were clean as well. Front desk staff was efficient. I would stay here again.

Clean, affordable safe Great for short stay or long location is perfect all major freeways accessable... kids free k9s welcome. Staff on top of it!
